Thank you for wanting to download our 3rd Birthday film.

this film marks the third in a trio of successful happy years for roguesquad.

since the last birthday, which seems like a long time ago now, the clan has continued to grow into a mighty force, now with 2 championship titles to defend in the CU league.

The line up has change a bit since last year, so let me take this time to wish a very happy birthday to my comrades;

the last RS birthday was a very special one, in that myself and MD chose to put together a movie for all of the members to enjoy and we put it on a dvd along with all the other movies we made that year and sent it out to all our members.

this year is no exception, and we decided to push the boat out a little bit.

this years birthday dvd contains the biggest and best movies of this year, along with a 15 minute long feature presentation collaberated on by myself an MD.

a dvd in an envelope is not how rs rolls however, i produced us a dvd cover and sent it off to the printers to get it professionally printed and cut to go in the dvd cases that wopper kindly provided.

this dvd was then sent out to all our members and if your one of those lucky members reading this now, you should already have recieved this gift in the post. Its just our way of saying thankyou for choosing rs, and helping us achieve the status we have today :)

The making of this movie was no easy task, and it would never have been completed without the help of not only our members, but several members from 50klicks, of which i am very greatful for you giving up your time to help me film.

to give you an idea of the scale of this project, below is an incredibly zoomed out screenshot of the entire movie in its editing environment.

to create such a movie it required a lot of files containing the raw battlefield 2 footage, pre-rendered clips created in a special 3d animation program, and a lot of music and still images.

all together the files used come close to 200gb of data
